He came to the first pig's house and said/asked/barked "Little pig, little pig, let me in!" The first pig refused/said no/told him to go away, but the wolf huffed and puffed/blew his nose/took a big breath and blew the house down! The scared pig ran/fled quickly/made a mad dash to the second pig's house.
The wolf followed close behind/quickly/at a fast pace and repeated his request/said the same thing/asked again "Little pig, little pig, let me in!" The second pig also refused/didn't want to open up/told him to leave, but the wolf huffed and puffed/blew with all his might/took a giant breath and blew the house down! The two pigs ran/scampered away/quickly escaped to the third pig's house.
The wolf arrived at the door/came to the sturdy house/reached the brick home check here and said/asked/demanded "Little pig, little pig, let me in!" This time, the third pig stood his ground/wouldn't budge/refused to open. He told the wolf that he wasn't going to let him in because he knew the wolf was hungry/mean/a bad guy. The wolf huffed and puffed/tried everything he could/breathed as hard as he could but he couldn't blow the house down. He got tired/he gave up/he went away.
The three little pigs were safe in their home/celebrated their victory/learned a valuable lesson about the importance of being prepared and building something strong.
